Two 1/48TH REVELL PV-1 VENTURAS

These two models depict Navy Venturas of VPB 133 “The Hit Paraders” stationed on Roi-Namur, in the Kwajalein Atoll, from Sept. ‘44 until March of ‘45.

This Navy squadron flew with MAG 31 Corsairs in attacks on Wotje, Lae, Jaluit, and Likiep Islands up to early 1945.

VPB 133 was transferred to Iwo Jima in March of ‘45.

These models are finished with Model Master paint, kit decals and homemade stencils.
