1/48th Accurate Miniatures SBD Dauntless

This model depicts a SBD Dauntless stationed on Bougainville in early 1944.

The Marines flew this aircraft on an almost daily “Milk Run” to Rabaul.

This aircraft was originally painted Sea Gray over Light Gray, then had the upper surfaces painted NS Sea Blue with the ‘43 change to the tri-color paint scheme.

This model is finished with MM paint, kit decals and homemade stencils.
