The Japanese Chitose Class was originally seaplane tender, after the battle of midway island she and her sister ship Chiyoda together were rebuilt to light carriers. Chiyoda took part in the battle of Leyte Gulf,25 October 1944,and was sunk by cruiser and destroyer gunfire ,my work represents the last time of this ship with camoflage.
The kit from Pitroad is excellent, especially the flight deck. The references of this ship is very hard to search, i tried my best to represent a "right" carrier. After i finished 4 Zero and 6 Tenzen (Jill),I got information which said Chiyoda carried Kate during the battle of Leyte Gulf,he who plans to build this ship ,should notice this detail.
